Wednesday, December 30, 2009
Chadd Arner of Chadron, an education support professional with Chadron Public Schools, has been appointed to a one-year term on the Nebraska State Educa-tion Association Board of Directors.
Arner will be one of 33 members of the NSEA board. He was appointed as the Education Support Personnel representative by NSEA President Jess Wolf. The association has 28,000 members.
Specifically Arner will represent the association’s approximately 1,000 members who are custodians, bus drivers, school secretaries, para-professionals and in other education support professional positions.
The board meets monthly and guides the NSEA as directed by the organization’s annual delegate assembly. More than 400 members, elected by their peers, attend the assembly each year in April to set policies and goals.
Arner has worked for the Chadron Public Schools since 1995. He is a custodian at Chadron High School.
