The Chadron Middle School track and field teams got their seasons off to promising starts during meets in Scottsbluff and Gering on Tuesday, April 2. Young athletes from a half dozen schools participated. The girls competed in Gering while the boys’ action was in Scottsbluff.

Last Thursday saw the annual meeting of the Northwest Nebraska Trails Association (NNTA), and NNTA Treasurer George Ledbetter said there was great attendance and enthusiasm from everyone there, as well as great reports from all the committees and about upcoming events.
